About Me

My first passion is and always has been for storytelling. I was raised to believe that books and art were among life's most precious offerings, and have engaged with storytelling on multiple levels including as a writer, a student of literature and now as a visual artist and designer. I have long believed that words and images are two sides of one method of communication and that, together, they can convey otherwise elusive subtlety, beauty and emotional truth in the stories they tell.

My background includes a BA in English Literature and Creative Writing from the University of Brighton and an MA in Publishing and Creative Writing from Kingston University, London. I have also studied at the Visual College of Art and Design, worked as a cover designer for Ace of Swords Publishing and have had my digital art published in Kiwi Collective Magazine, in addition to various freelance projects.
